Shhh! Don't tell the kids there's something good for them in this cake.
Zucchini Chocolate Cake

SERVES 18
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk or sour milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups zucchini, grated
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts or whatever you want to use.
- Cream butter then add oil and sugar; mix.
- Add next 8 ingredients; mix well.
- Fold in the chips and nuts by hand.
- Put in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan.
- Bake at 325° for 1 hour or until done.
