Baby Girl's 1st Birthday

Yesterday was Olivia's 1st birthday. We traveled down to Mom and Dad's to celebrate it. She's grown into quite a sweet girl and we love her very much! It was great to be able to see her again. A good night.

10 years old on the 10th

10 years ago today our lives were forever changed for the better, by the birth of Benjamin Andrew. Being our first baby, we were beside ourselves excited for his arrival. When Benjamin was born he cried for a second, and then looked around taking all of us in. His curiousity and ability to take it all in remains one of his best qualities, but his kindness is what will melt my heart every single time. Benjamin is a friend to everyone and can strike up a conversation with anyone. He is the guardian and best friend to both Madeline and Natalie and I love to watching them grow up together. I have said before, that Benjamin has prepared us for anything the girls may do in the future but more than that I am constantly amazed at the things he thinks and does, in a good way!

Looking back at all of these photos brings a tear to my eyes. The time has flown by and I honestly can say I cannot believe that 10 years have already passed. Benjamin is a kind, compassionate, wonderful kid. I attribute all of his greatest qualities to growing up in an extended family that has loved him so much. Grandparents who are all so wonderful and always there for him, as well as Aunt's, Uncles, and cousins. In everything he does I see a little of each of us at times in him. I think that is the greatest gift he can be given.

So today we'll celebrate being 10 years old on the 10th. Happy Birthday Benjamin! We love you so much!

Today is also Nathaniel's birthday. Happy Birthday Buddy, we hope it's a great one!

Happy Birthday Natalie Rose!

Four years ago today our little family of 5 was completed with the arrival of Natalie Rose. She is everything we could have hoped for and more.

She's not feeling great today, fighting a cold and feeling "yucky" as she says. She's a little more grumpy with this cold, but she's still got her smile. We'll celebrate a bit today but more when she's feeling better. We let her open one of her gifts this morning before Tim went to work. I loved watching the big kids sit beside her as she opened her gift. Then once her gift was opened she immediately asked Maddie which animal she would like to have to play with. Benjamin jumped in and helped her get her toy open, so she could play with it. They are three peas in a pod and they go together so nicely.

Happy Birthday Tim!

Wishing my wonderful husband a very happy birthday today. We love you so much!

Unfortunately the girls were feeling crumby today with colds so not much celebrating going on here today but we'll do something this weekend when everyone is better.
